The demo ran like crap on my aging system too. I believe people who had 1gig of ram had better performance.(sucks up ram) It seems very unoptimized...imho. I had to put it on low detail and 800x600 just to get barely playable framerates. (and it still chugged)

P3 1ghz
512mb ram
Ti4600
(runs regular COD and HL2 very well)

I could hardly play the demo on my system (which is low end) and I found the full version ran great, so you can't really compare them in my opinion. It is a lot more fun then I expected...

how do u think my system will do?

shuttle an35n-ultra mobo
athlon xp-m @ 2.31 ghz
256mb 9600xt
512mb pc3200 ram

if any1 else has similar system, what settings is far cry, HL2, and D3 playable on? thanx

I will for sure be getting another 512mb stick of ram to bump me up to 1gb so take that into consideration

When you get another stick of ram, you should have no problems with with the games you listed.

I only played the first ten minutes or so but it seemed to run fine on my comp, mind you I over clock it a bit.
The games opening seemed awesome reminded me of the omaha beach scene. I just need to finish Half Life 2 before I start another.
