Next big upgrade ... when??
I want to build a new gaming rig in 2006. I'm going with AMD and NVidia. Any suggestions on when the next big jump in CPU and GPU power is coming along? Any new motherboard technologies on the horizon? Thanks.
Ed

well, you should wait for Socket M2 from AMD...
for Nvidia their next GPU will be G8xxx...faster and rumor said it has 48 pixel pipelines... If that is what you want and you can afford it... Computer Maniac
