Viewing another person's screen online?
I know it's possible but I just don't know how...I don't want to allow remote control but in a way run like a mirror mode setup where the connecting computer can just see what the other person is doing...reason why is for our fantasy football draft...there's a few people who won't be there and we'll be running a ventrilo server for voice communication...but I would also like to have 1 computer running excel and have multiple people connect to it remotely so as each pick is made...I could just type who was picked on excel so everyone could see...it would basically be a virtual draft board...any suggestions?

AFAIK Remote desktop can be used in a view only mode.

I don't think you can use Remote Desktop or Remote Assistance to have multiple clients viewing the same remote screen. But you can use TightVNC (and probably most other VNC implementations) to do that. Start up the VNC server on the computer with the spreadsheet, making sure it's configured to disallow remote control. Then each of your league participants can connect to your VNC server to watch your screen, either via a downloaded VNC client or the server's built-in Java viewer. You'll need to make sure the port used for VNC is open to the Internet so that people can connect to your PC.

UltraVNC can do this as is.
One caveat it has to be open connection without the use of the Encryption Module. http://www.uvnc.com/download/
