Question Overclock PIII

hey, my friend has a PIII and we want to overclock. We arent newbie just at this stuff. I need a good tutorial on this. If sharky has on post the link on this post! i need help. This boy has a 550 and he loves games. he has two fans and what would be a good overclock. i think maybe to 700. Is that good????

hey!
well it depends on your motherboard! if you have a i815 mobo its soooooooo easy!! lemme know and ill give u soem info, its all done in software if oyu have said mobo.

wow, i don't have the mobo yet but i'll look into that. See, i only have around $300 and i have to buy a new case, a better HSF, a PIII 800e, and a mobo. Which i think will cost around $400 or so

Some of the articles are real old so be careful...some of the stuff is newer though...so you will just have to look around. GOOD LUCK!!

Edit! Heres another overclocking FAQ its about a year old...but the basics of the process remain the same.
