What do you game on poll nad some quick questions bout your gaming

I recently stopped pc gaming around may 2006 and switched to Xbox 360. I did this for a few reasons:
-got a big screen hd tv for insanly cheap
-cheaper then constantly upgrading computer parts
-seems a little less nerdy even though I enjoyed building two gaming rigs!

I can't be happier with the switch besides the constant urge to build a gaming rig with money I don't have just to see the same games on xbox 360 with better graphics on the pc. MY Xbox 360 setup icludes a premium xbox 360, 56" DLP JVC HDTV up to 1080P, onkyo hs590 surround sound, xbox live...The surround sound and larger are one advantage that I wish I could utilize with my pc.

WHAT IS YOUR SETUP REGARDLESS OF THE SYSTEM YOU RUN?
DO YOU THINK YOU WILL EVENTUALLY SWITCH TO CONSOLES?

Don't be scared of admitting your nerdy.

I'm not American, so I apologise if it's taken out of context.

If you limit yourself to either consoles or PC, you're a ****ing retard.

Just like to point that out.

I have two gaming rigs, the one in my sig and a more than capable AM2 X2 HTPC. I also have a Wii, a PS3 and a 360 (with add-on HD drive), but which do I like more? That's easy, my PCs due to KB/mouse control, gamepads/controllers are so freaking hard to master......I got tired real fast of getting my butt fragged while trying my darnest to target my enemies......got old real fast! Bioshock and all newer games on the PC FTW!

It really depends, some take to it like ducks to water. Like me ! I'm not neccessarily highly skilled at either control scheme though.

You are after all listening to the guy who actually loves the control scheme for airplanes in GTA for the PC.

PC and consoles. Its just not worth it to stick to one since both sides offer some great games.

PC. Because console prices are way out of hand right now, and my wife will have my nads on a stick if I go and drop $500+ dollars on a system plus a game or two. I already have the pc.

Newsflash: You don't HAVE to upgrade all the time to run and enjoy the latest PC games.

I suppose if you're unsatisfied with anything less than the highest level detail at the highest resolution and fastest frame rates possible, that won't be the case. Fortunately for me, I'm not that way, and enjoy games across all platforms.

Certain genres work much better on certain platforms, so limiting your gaming to only one or the other can often mean you're entirely cut off from some genres of games. If you don't care about those genres of games in the first place, that's fine, but for me, I'll play pretty much any kind of game if it's worth playing, and won't limit myself to one platform or another.

Considering the amount of time and money I've invested in PC hardware. I think it's anything but foolish to assume I'm a PC guy. I definitely am one, will be till I die.

The Xbox 360 has its strengths, for everything else, there is the PC. Which is surprisingly often. Especially since PC games over here are quite a bit cheaper than 360 games. Unless the game was built from the ground-up for the console, as with Double Agent.
