    I have T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon

Verizon has excellent service, but crappy phone selection.

AT&T has the best minute bucket ($99 - unlimited) and excellent phones - I have the SPV and Pocket PC Phone on At&T

T-Mobile - excellent GSM service, good rates, but I am the sidekick plan just riding my contract out then disconnect - they ticket me off.

I just recently got the LG VX4400 with Verizon National Plan service, so far the quality has been very good, and battery life is much longer than i expected on it. I'll mainly be using it nights and weekends, and of course I had to download Tetris for it

Black LG flip phone with Verizon service. Happy with everything except the damn battery. Dies out after two hours.

Motorola Bag Phone (not sure of model number) on an Alltel employee plan...
$9.99 a month for 500 day/1000 nights&weekends for the local area here in East Tennessee.

The emplyee plan is the ONLY reason I have Alltel service period. Alltel has decent coverage, but frequent network problems, and LOUSY customer service.

An example of this was during the debut of their National Freedom Plan. About the same time this plan came out, Verizon bought out Cellular One in this area and converted all of their TDMA towers to CDMA, giving Alltel digital customers the ability to roam off of Verizons system. This was supposed to be OK...thats where Alltel got their National Freedom coverage area...they have roaming agreements with Verizon and Sprint PCS. BUT, people were getting roaming charges for using their phones RIGHT HERE IN TOWN. And, when they would call in to customer service to see what was going on, the customer service reps would get real snotty and hateful with them, and tell them that they WERE ROAMING and they WERE responsible for those charges, and that this town wasnt even covered in the National Freedom area.

So, WE...US...the Alltel agents would call in to get it lined out, and they gave us the SAME thing. And we would tell them, "THIS IS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ALLTEL OWNED SERVICE AREA!!! OF COURSE ITS IN THE NATIONAL FREEDOM AREA!!! HOW THE FREAK DO YOU THINK WE COULD SELL ALLTEL HERE IF IT WERENT!!!"
And the universal response, "Well, uhhhh...im sorry, its not showing in the computer as being in the area...I can let you talk to my supervisor if you would like..."

Supervisor comes on. Same story. So we started taking names and turning them in to the local Alltel coordinator. Whether or not anything actually got done about it, I dont know.

FINALLY, after four months of this the problem got fixed, and from the description of it, it sounded like something fairly simple. The proper home SID's werent loaded into the Alltel towers properly.

So, after that I lost all faith in Alltel. I wouldnt recomend them to anyone...

I'm using Cincinnati Bell Wireless and a Nokia 3560. Unfortunately, in Cincinnati, you can't go with AT&T directly, but rather buy the services through Cincinnati Bell. Right now, they do not offer GSM service even though AT&T supports it on their network in our area. Only good thing is not having a contract so I can leave the plan whenever.

Well recently like 2 months ago, I got a new phone and a new service. I was very much thinking which one to get and finally decided to buy a Nokia 2100. And frankly said, it's one hell of a nice phone. Comfortable, small and very easy to use. So, I'm glad of my decidion.

And the service .. well again I live in Russia, so most probably no one will know it, but ... MTC! Also very satisfying.
