Anyone know what happened to ZipZoomFly?

I ordered my last PC from them with no problems, but I went to their site recently and it seems they took off all the hardware, with the exception of a few left overs?

Anyone know whats up with them?

If they're going out of business, that's really sad because I'd need to look for a new place to buy parts from in the future. I was really happy with my ZipZoomFly order because I got free FedEx shipping (Unlike NewEgg which charges crazy amount for shipping unless you want to risk it with UPS, and also packs things atrociously, and I have to pay tax on there too even though I'm in NY.)

Anyway, anyone here heard anything about what's up with ZipZoomFly?

    Thanks...

Take a look at what is actually in stock though.

    ...

    ...seeing a trend?

It's a shame. I ordered many, many parts from ZZF back in the day (2001-2005 or so).
Their prices were always usually about the same as Newegg, but the shipping was usually always free, via FedEx, and much faster. That would often tip the scales for me, and could save as much as $50-$100 in a system build.

One less retailer is always a sad thing to see, but I guess they just couldn't compete.

Wow, seems like nothing is actually in stock. Too bad, I've ordered a lot of stuff from them over the years.

I've heard zipzoomfly is a part of the newegg network. They may be phasing the site out?

They are owned by Xtraplus Corp, 38929 Cherry St, Newark, CA 94560.
It is a private company so little info is public.
I no longer have a subscription to Dun's so I can't give you a credit rating, but their BBB rating was revoked on 5 January 2011.

I would avoid doing business with them.

Dunno, I had phenomenal service from them when I ordered my current system from them last year. Most importantly everything got here safe, in one piece, and with free shipping.

I think I'll have to try Mwave next, Amazon or pay the retail mark up. Still will be cheaper than buying it on Newegg (Tax + FedEx shipping = a lot).
Sad that good businesses are going out...

Mwave has nice prices, but has higher shipping rates than Newegg.
