DNF and TF2 *** are those? Those are so ancient they should be in my school textbooks. I think Doom III has the best chance but just for the incase I scratched down 1 for none of them.

Well, I immidiately eliminated Doom 3 and the last choice when I read the poll. It is still too early for Doom 3 to be released. ID won't release it 'til next year.

Duke Nukem Forever, as its name implies, will take forever to be released. It's already done, but developers are probably fearing it would fail in competing with newer better games, so they keep modifying the engine in the hope to improve the game enough to make it attractive to people when released.

Frankly though, I expect for Duke Nukem Forever the same exact failure that Daikatana had when it was released. I mean, DN Forever has already been hyped a lot, and is using a seriously old engine, pretty much the criteria that Daikatana had met before it was declared as a big failure.

Besides, if DK Forever was released in the past, its only competitors woulda been Quake 3 Arena (not a direct competitor) and Unreal Tournament (same here too). Nowadays, there are millions of other good games to compete with, so I don't think it's a good idea in the first place to release DK Forever because it will be the biggest failure and shame 3D Realms ever encounters.

Hence the reason why my vote goes to Team Fortress 2. I mean, this game is already done too, and it's being perfected by Valve, a company I trust. It shouldn't take them much more time before releasing it if they were smart enough of course. Yeah sure, they would have to compete with RTCW Multiplayer and the DoD mod for Half-Life (ironic isn't it), but with the improved graphics and better gameplay Team Fortress 2 will definitely beat the competition.

your all crazy to think doom 3 will be out before Duke or TF2 (which i doubt is even named that anymore) like k-hectic said, Duke is probably done for the most part and they're just tweaking it to bring it up todays standards. Doom3 will defenetely be last, i wouldnt be surprised if we didnt see it till spring of next year, maybe longer.

you want to know why DNF isn't out yet?
First they changed from Q2 engine to Unreal Engine, now they will upgrade to Unreal Engine 8xx, then they'll change it to Doom3 engine, etcetcetc, they always change it to best engine available, and it'll take forever before it's released (it'll be released when there won't be any new engines)
