    How does one take Trailware out of their registry?

    Do you mean, delete the registry entry that's responsible for determining if you've used a "shareware" product for longer than the allowed time? If that's what you mean, than I only have one answer: Don't ask. Asking such questions violates our Acceptable Use Policy

    If you meant something else, please elaborate on your question and I'm sure someone here will be able to lend you a hand.

    let me try this again

    Shareware, Freeware, Spyware, Trailware, Your OWN purchased WARE....

    Any of the above, by unistalling them some files are still left behind. My question was not to abuse software or get away with use trialware/shareware/etc for free.

    I installed a program from the web....several actually.

    I have two problems from installing these programs (this is happening after i unistalled them)

    1.) I keep getting this damn request to buy their software... i don't want it, i tried sending them an e-mail asking if their's a way to delete...no response yet.

    2.) After that pop-up comes up asking me if i want to buy it...i close it, my PC locks up.... every damn time. Granted this could be a coincidence.....but over 12 times???? i don't think so.

    I don't want to try to get some cheap software free.... i just want it off. Hell, to buy the software, it's only $10!!!!! CHANGE!!!

    i understand your concern and admire it, i'm just getting upset at whomever programmed this software to do this. I'm trying to get things off my pc so i can reformat, but i would like to avoid that, if possible.

    thanks for any and all help
