    I need help using visual studio.net

    I had visual c++ on my computer but it was just like a trial version so I bought a copy of visual studio.net academic and installed it. Now whenever I open one of my c++ source files, but I cant figure out how you compile it or anything. So...how's it work?

    Is the cpp file part of a workspace? In order to compile it has to be part of a project workspace.

    Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.
