Question How do I run ASP code on my computer?

I can run asp on the server I am using, but I always have to upload it before I can use ASP. What do I have to do to be able to use asp on my machine (My machine is not the server)? I know in win98 you had to install pws or something. I have xp home now. How do I do this? Thanks.

You have to install and configure IIS, which is the webserver for XP. I know it comes with XP Pro, but I am not sure about XP Home. It should be installable from the add/remove programs control panel-windows programs tab, or by inserting the CD. I think... its been awhile since I did that.

XP Home does not have IIS and PWS will not work on it either. You need XP Pro for IIS at a minimum.

Yeah, I did a search on google and I found the same thing. Well, I guess I am stuck uploading it to the server first.
