    That looks like the server we put together in my Advanced Computer Technologies class in high school. It was pretty ghetto, like that. LOL, we even made some speakers out of the small ones found in cases. We cut holes in Pringles cans to hold them too, lol

    i use high performance cdrs to dissipate heat! This will be the new trend in high performance data storage servers, cd coaster cooling system!

    How is the vibration on them hard drives. Do the CD's help??

    The vibration isn't so bad, I've had that setup for near 4 years with no problems... The one issue was the heat (metal to metal) so the cd's help with that, and I have a 120mm fan blowing on them. Those drives have outlived any other maxtors I've heard of, so I guess it's ok : ]. I only ask questions when things break heheheh.
