confusing.. but prob easy RAID question!

Welp, this one has been wrackin me for a while, but im quite a noob to it and I thought Id just get the answer straight up here..

I am looking to get 2 Seagate 80GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive Barracuda V ST380023AS's to set up in a Raid 0 configuration on a P4C800-E motherboard.

Now, question is, what the huff other stuff do I need for it! On Newegg they recommend you need all this stuff like a Serial ATA Controller Card.. or a Serial ATA Power Adapter..

What other cords or cards do I actually need to purchase with these drives to make it work? I read that the motherboard comes with 4 x Serial ATA cable, 2 x SATA power cable. Are those the things that I need?

    Alright, thats about it. Thanks!

Oh, and if anyone knows, while im posting this, I am lookin to get a Panaflo 80mm fan, but I read that they dont come with connectors.. How exactley do I plug them in to use as my cpu cooler? Do i need to purchase one of those 3-pin and 4-pin adaptor connectors? and should I get the 3 or 4 pin one..

Sorry for the noob questions, but thanks!

    Welcome to Sharky Extreme Forums

Your mobo will come with two SATA cables. If your HDs DON'T use the standard 4-pin Molex plugs you'll need to get two, power connection adapters.
Consider the ThermalTake Smart Fan 2 rather than the Panaflo.

Thanks, I think I will look into that thermal take fan.

The barracuda's are oems. Newegg says that they Requires additional Power adapters.. but the motherboard says up there that it comes with 2 x SATA power cable.. are those not the same thing?
