Vs.net 2005
Hi.
I just got VS.NET 2005 beta 2 in the mail. Came with VS, MS SQL server and some other thing. Going to install it tomorrow.
If anyone used it, what is your impression of it?
Also will it play nice with 2003 stuff, or do I have to uninstall that?
Thanks.

I love it. So much cleaner and a more modern feel than VS 2003.
I don't think you'll want both installed at once because VS 2003 works with .NET 1.1 and VS 2005 needs .NET 2.0 (also still beta). I've been running it through Virtual PC, and it works fine. There have been some releases that wouldn't install and generally screwed things up, but that's the beauty of virtual OSes. No problems with the latest beta, though.

Yeah I like it. It acted funny at first, and I do notice a couple bugs. But it is easily usable. And the bugs that I have noticed are already fixed for the next version.
