Wireless IP Cameras designed for outside use aren't trully wireless because they still need a wire to power them up! There are never used power outlets in my car which allow powering-up of something (vacum cleaner?). Is there a thingamajig adapter that would permit powering up a laptop, IP camera, cell, etc) using the auto's power outlets - with the car not running. Yes, I know there are battery chargers to charge up dead car batteries. I don't know of any battery operated "wireless" IP cameras. Would it be possible to somehow use a laptop's battery - in conjunction with the car's battery to power said cameras to "wirelessly" stream limited motion detected video from the camera in the car to the DVrecorder in the laptop, or to the house receiver/recorder/pc, or internet web page). Alternatively, are there laptop/cell/whatever batteries that can limitedly stream motion detected video for say 8-10 hours? Where's the smiley with crossed-eyes?
