I'm curious how the battle mechs are to control. Oh and tell us more about Titan mode and whether you think it will replace conquest mode.

SWEET you got in! I was too late

I join servers through Xfire and was too lazy to load the game by itself and go to their website. But, I figured if it appears on the menu screen...it's too late LOL.

It runs pretty smoothly (unlike BF2).

The support class gun mows 'em down nicely.

I think I'll pass on buying it, however.

you can probably control them like tanks. i mean, you can go in any direction, but it's not like you have arms to deal with, just turrets and direction.

Hmm seems a lot like BF2 which I'm not all that found of. I find myself going back to DC again. Maybe Quake Wars will be different. I find the BF2 interface very cluttered and 2142 has the same feel to me.

Maybe it was just the map I played, but it wasn't action-oriented enough. Also, you seem to die a lot more simply from the way the game is setup; e.g., a pilot bails on you, and you drop instantly to the ground and die.

The way medic and resupplying is done is hokey and incovenient. You throw a resupply box down and it makes a weird explosion noise. Then you have to wait a while before you can drop another.

It's comparable to BF2 in a lot of ways, but it lacks the fun factor for me.
