    Question A recommendation for PDA

My wife needs a PDA for her job, and I know next to nothing about them. Can someone give me some good models to look at or maybe some sites that review them.

First question, does it need to be a Palm OS or Windows Mobile OS? If it is for work then it must be compatible with their software so that is the first thing we need to know.

also can it be a phone? i feel that current smartphones (treos, blackberries, even iphone) have pretty much killed off stand alone PDAs... it would be easier to get a convergence device

Pretty much a fact. Between the three you can do pretty much anything you'd need to do, and be connected to the tubes.

If she just wants a replacement for a paper organizer, look at the Palm Z22. If she needs more, a PDA is probably not the best choice anyways.

Depending on this answer and a healthy level of technical savy, I would suggest an 8525 from ATT.
