My keyboard is acting up.... HALP

Almost every time I press the shift key - it pastes what I had last copied (as if you were pressing ctrl+v).

I have also noticed during my gaming my keys seemed to randomly change.... like my move forward would turn into look up.

Also, a couple times when I had winamp open, it would constantly spam open directory (as if I was hitting some shotcut keys).

Is this just my keyboard dying(or maybe too dirty?) or could it be a virus? I can't even hold down the arrow keys to move back/forward. It only goes over once (when it should scroll over).

I ran super anti spyware and malware bytes which only found 1 trojan. Got rid of it but my keyboard is still messing up. I also ran crap cleaner.

Suggestions?

Could be either a dirty or dying. If you'd rather save the cash and try to save it, take a butter knife and pop off all your keys and go at it with a box of qtips and rubbing alcohol at hand. It kind of sounds like you're shorting out somewhere.

It would probably eliminate a lot of guessing if you simply tried another keyboard on the system.
