Backup script (.bat or .wsh file)
I'm looking for a bit of help with a backup script I need, either as a .bat or .wsh file. I don't have any experience at all with WSH, but I can write the odd batch file though. Basically, I need the script to:- Copy the contents of a directory to another directory (including all its subdirctories and files)
- Zip the directory and contents
- Copy the zip file to a network drive, and rename the zip file with a unique (i.e. date stamped) filename
- Then delete the copies of the directory that were made during the process, and no longer needed.
I would also need to sort out a method of getting the script to run at a certain time each night. As I'm running WinMe, I was thinking of using Task Scheduler.
Thanks for any help you might be able to give me
