2 Quick Questions......

I use VB a LOT! I was wondering how AIM takes the name and actually sends the message. I mean, does it take it throuh IP address or what? Could I possibly make a program like the buddy list and AIM? Also, I was wondering if It was possible to put all the messaging programs together. Like ICQ, AIM, MSN, and others. So how would I go about doing this?

Asking how to combine several different chat services is a QUICK question? I'd hate to see a long one.

Well, I believe there is at least one program out there that will do what you want. I don't know what it is (or they are)called, though.

Yeah there is a program out there that is AIM, ICQ, IRC, MSN, and Yahoo all rolled into one. Its called Trillian, its very cool but I thought it ate a little too much resources for my liking. But you should try it out anyway
