hmmm i guess thats all i have to say about that....
I love it how they're keeping it under wraps and not releasing shots (apart from that attractive yet hardly revealing bunch a few months back) so as not to build hype, yet every other day Scott Miller will post something to a forum saying something like "It'll take at least two years for a game to be as good as Duke Nukem once it's released". ;) Odd's are it'll at least be a pretty classy game once released though, I gotta say. Anyone else looking forward to this one?Quote:

ME! ME ! ME!, i loved dukenukem3d, IMO it was much better than quake1 (i am talking bout the single player) due 2 the earth settings, i am soo tired of those gothic castle/spaceship settings. Crouching through ventilation shafts was ace (it reminds me of my favorite action movie Die Hard1)Quote:

I am afraid i have 2 upgrade my pc before i can play duke again, the screenshots i saw look very good.
My $0.20
I am looking forward to it also. So has anyone heard what engine it will use?? I heard the UT engine...has it changed again?
Still the ut engine, i hope they do it better than the deus ex designers, it was a nightmare on my tnt card
Deus Ex used the Unreal engine without the UT gubbins bolted on which is why it was a bit slow. I think Duke Forever uses a more recent version of the Unreal engine so it should be fine.Quote:

anyone know where to find some DukeForever screenies?
Once again Zyme pipes in an ignorant question:
I bought a Radeon, and thought, cool, now i should back to Unreal and see how it looks. It sucked *** because it's optimized for Glide, which my old Banshee handled great.
Is the UT engine Glide optimised? will i need to get a 3DFX card to see how good DN4 looks?
Hopefully not!!! I want to play this one on my GTS (But I still got my V3 in the closet...just in case...).Quote:

DeusEx runs cool with glide but is a real pain the rear, with D3D!
I hope 3D Realms don't make the same mistake, not to update the engine to the current version (432).
One last question:
What are you waitin' for? Christmas?
;-)

i for one believe DN3d has/has the best levels ever. i have waited for this $%^&# game for 3 yrs, and im pissed. with each day that passes thier lossing $ because the tech will date and people who played it sooooo long ago may have grown up. why not reintroduce the game, same old levels but with the UT engine! Hell, id pay real $ for it.
