Yes and no they are more in the line of Quake 2 where you play missions to acomplish goals, and not like Quake 3 where you just run around and frag.
Unreal at the time it was released had awesome graphics and I recommend it if you havent played it yet.
I will buy Unreal 2 when it comes out.

well quake3 has goals, but not many ppl play those levels. ctf, tdm, etc....
its all just fragging...

Nowadays it seems that the FPS has different flavors. Back when Quake II and Unreal were first out it was all the same kind of gameplay. Run here, shoot guys, pick up guns, open doors. The only real difference was the graphics.
But now with Unreal Tournament and Quake III they there is pace differences, types of weapon differences and with Unreal Tournament you have vastly difference goals.
I personally would like the FPS games to go back to having a story. I hear that is what they are doing with Unreal II and Quake IV.
