When I reset the BIOS on my 8KHA+ it always has the ram voltage bumped a notch above normal. Is it supposed to be this way? Is this normal?
I don't really have a problem with it because I run my ram way above normal voltage, but just thought it a little wierd.
It is done by default to increase stability i guess. Nothing to worry about though :)

Do you have any special cooling on the dimms? It will be on my shopping list if need be, maybe another 80mm fan mounted right on top of the ram?Quote:

He He...no AC...but I do have PC. TT's ramsinks and heat spreader. When I touch the sinks after quite a few 3DMark runs, they're not even warm ;)Quote:

i took my memory to 3.0V during some of my overclocking attempts, and it corrupted my config.sys file...Quote:

If you are running a late version of Windows, you DO NOT NEED a config.sys file at all.
If you are running some old dos games, then you will.
If you are not running the old dos games, the autoexec.bat and config.sys are files that are useless.
I always delete them after installing all of my software. Never had a problem one.
