Norton Ghost
I dual boot Win98SE on C:\ and WinXP on E:\ (2 partitions, same HD) I want to use Ghost to backup Win XP as that is the one I use the most. However, I am assumming that I can't just back up XP as it has registry entries under Win98SE for dual boot and therefore, I have to ghost both partitions. Or can I do just XP? Just in case, how do I ghost both partitions? Thanks.

There is nothing store in teh registry in Win98, there is a few files in the root of C: which can be replaced easily by booting off the XP CD and running the repair option.

You don't have to keep image of both partitions if you don't want to. I have win98 and XP on two separate drives and I have restore image of winXP partition a few times already with no problem at all.
I made the image after the dualboot was already set up and running.
One thing I noticed is that Norton ghost won't let me save an image to the same harddrive tha tthe partition is on even if it is to a different partition. It has to be on two separate harddrive.
