Questions about PSU, Fans,overclocking

Hya all
well finnaly i chose my case today im going for an chieftech those cases are fantastic 2 rear places to put 8x8 fans an 8x8 fan place on the HD cage and another place on the bottom :)
what 8x8 fans do you recomend? i need good air flow but silence is the key
im thinking on putting one on the HD cage and another on the back
also the chieftech PSU is any good? the guy told me it has a maximum peak of 315Watts wich is a much bigger value than normal PSU's have
do you think it is true?
Now my setup will be has following

epox8k3t+
512 Mb (either crucial or samsung pc2700)
athlon XP1800+ (unless Tbred comes out)
1 seagate barracuda 40g 7.200 rpm
1 seagate 40g 5.400rpm
1 maxtor 10 gig ( alone on IDE port serving has swapfille )
1 cdrw
1 dvdrom
soundblaster audigy
zoltrix tv capture

now with my 1.8 XP unlocked what kind of overclock you think i should be able to get???
also whats the best fan to use on the cpu????? (silent)

Fans, definatly Panaflo fans. They are probably the quietest you can find at a good price. I use an 80mm, 40cfm, 32 db, on my processor and it is pretty much silent (I can sleep with it a few feet away, but I notice it alot more at night).
315 watts bigger? Well, to your average user with no idea what's inside their computer, yes it is. Most who build their own systems chose to use more. I use a 430 watt Enermax. Will I ever need more? Probably not. But the ability is there if I need to expand. For that computer, 315 will be fine for you, if you want to toss in a few CD drives and a RAID array or something, you might want to add more, but you should be fine with that.
As for your overclock, try something like the Thermalright AX-7. Put on a Panaflo and that should provide quiet cooling.

*edit* Now that I look at it, with 3 hard drives and 2 cd's, 315 seems pushing it, if not enough. You may want to invest in a slightly larger PSU

the PSU isnt of 315Watts it is a 340 Watts Chieftech PSU and the guy said the Peak of that PSU was 315 Watts and i've been looking into 215 Watts PSU's and they say max peak 120 Watts i believe the one im getting is much powerfull

120 and 215 watts peak? I think you may be confusing that the volts they take. 120 is what a normal wall socket puts out, and 220 is what your washing machine or oven would use. A 215 watt power supply would definatly not be enough for the system you want.

If silence is key, go to http://www.bgmicro.com/lmad.htm and check out the fans they have there. $2.99 for a 39.5CFM fan at 29dB. They have quieter if you're looking for it.

The PSU that's provided will be fine if you don't overclock. If you plan to really overclock your system you need to pick up a PSU that has variable 5v and 12v rails (some antec's and sparkles have them I believe).
