I have two hard drives labeled C and D. I also have 2 cd-rom drives labled E and G. The thing is, it labels my secondary cd-rom as E and my primary cd-rom G. My primary should be labeled E and my secondary should be labeled F. Can anyone help?

Which OS are you using?...A physical approach is to change the jumper settings on your CDROMS (master->slave, slave->master).
In WinNT and higher, use Disk Manager to change the letter to whatever you want.
You can also assign the drive letters for CD-ROM drives in Windows 9x using Device Manager. Go into the properties for the drive and set the "Reserved Drive Letter" fields.
Im in XP Pro, how do I access Disk Manager?
Disk Managr is in the Computer Management MMC that is accessed from the Start menu.
Piece of cake then: rightclick my computer\manage \diskmanagement towards the bottom of the screen you will see your HD(s) and cdroms plus their respective capacities and operational status. For the cdroms just right click on CDROM (1) or (2) and then click "change driver letter."
Note: you will have to play a little shell game with drive letters to get the reult you are looking for. You'll figure it out.
Ah, got it fixed. Thanks guys.
