sparc64
with regards to free/net/openbsd, whats the most advanced for running on a sparc64 atm? freebsd has smp working (seemingly), yet netbsd doesnt, openbsd supports more sparc64 arch than netbsd, etc..
its hard to get a grip on the current state of sparc64 *BSD offerings...
has anyone any info on the most stable/furtherest along sparc64 port?

Well, since the NetBSD goal is to be able to run on every 32/64 bit computer in exsistance, while FreeBSD wants to offer the easiest, and best BSD, I imagine that NetBSD would be the better choice. As for FreeBSD, it just wants to be the most secure.

i was leaning more toward openbsd for sparc64, netbsd struck me as being the least advanced sparc64 port of the three, even tho it was in dev longer than the other two.
