need opinions please...

should i get a laptop for notes and all my computer needs in college, or should i get a pda with a keyboard and buy a desktop (which would be better price for more performance)? is the price difference really noticable in laptops and desktops of same specs?

I'd get a PDA and a desktop. Even though the Laptops nowadays are so powerful you can do anything with them, the other combination will give you more options for a better price, and you will also have more options when it comes to upgrading.
