I didn't get to put the fan grill on it yet or paint it, but that's the dummy pci fancard I made. It's going to get painted chrome soon. :)

My idea is under my HDD cooler and above my floppy drive is to take some perfboard and cut out a nice little door that I can then use the plastic-locks to put that over it and keep all my wires behind there, any thoughts?

By the way, here's my "before case cleaning picture" of the HDD cooler:

You can see how there's little space between it, so it shouldn't be too hard. There's also something to put the clips onto. It'd just be a matter of some simple measuring and some real easy cutting. :)

Oh yeah, after looking at TAZGT's case, I'm really considering putting a window + cathode in.

Does anyone know of a place that sells the ultra-violet cathodes? (newegg.com's out of stock. :( )

60mm floor fans? Not so smart blowing cold air out of the bottom of you're case, wouldn't you think? ;)

Anyways, I do believe PCMods sells UV Lights. They sell almost every color of the visible spectrum :rolleyes:

How so? It's just blowing out hot air, or it should be.
There's 2 fans in the way of the Tornado's direction, both being 40CFM fans (80CFM sucking total) and an 84.1CFM tornado blowing through them, either way you cut it the Tornado's overpowering them.
I was thinking of putting the first as an intake and the second as an exhaust, so it'll kind of shoot the cool air up then create a pocket in the back for sucking out the hot air, what do you think?

Umm, hot air rises. Make the two bottom fans intakes (if they are even getting good flow due to restricted space. Put either another back exhaust or optimally place a top blow hole - mine helped by quite a few degrees. And clean that case up, get some round cables and zip tie those power cables.

You truely have a **** load of cooling power, but are you using it correctly? Remember, air acts as a liquid but it rises. Try to get as much air as you can out of the top and back top of your case as possible. If you have a good design, say 2 80mm back exhausts and 1 80mm or 92mm top exhaust blow hole you will move enough air to drop a front air intake all together. But, I do like the idea of smaller floor holes to cool the cards and even hard drives if they are placed in the lower portion of your case. Just remember, if you exhaust more air than you bring in you are doing good - it builds up back pressure and pulls air in.

I know, I'm thinking of modding my rig and putting a 92mm Tornado over the RAM or possibly a bit higher up. That way I'll be able to put my bottom 2 60mm's as intakes and have very good airflow.

(179CFM exhaust, 190.1CFM intake)

Not a bad idea. You made a nice PCI Dummy Card, I would try top drop it one slot down. If you swap the 2 cards below it you will have room for that. Anyway sounds like you want to make a screen of sorts to hide all your cables. If you just purchased some rounded cables and organized your power cables (Cleaned it Up) you wouldn't need to put ina screen.

I also think that you need to switch the direction of the fans on the bottom. They should be intake fans to push the air up. Take one of the bottom ones and add it as an exhaust in the rear below the other one. Looks like it might fit. Wow your case must be loud.
