OK, how about this system...
Still trying to figure out a system, but I found this on the web and thought it looked pretty good. Comes with a one year parts and labor, three year parts warranty. What'cha think, price/quality, and specs wise? (ps. I'm reusing my Plextor 40x24x40 CD-R, NIC, and Altec Lansing speakers, the cheapies that come with this one are going in the garage, and the price includes shipping)

Indus, you said:
>There's no such thing as a 2.43 ghz P4 cpu.
I didn't catch that. It's a 2.4B CPU
>And hopefully it doesn't come with propeitary parts and stuff or a crappy power supply so it hampers your trying to overclock it.
Yep, it comes with a brand x 300W, but that's going in the can and a 400W is going in.
Redviper22 and cmdrvenom, you said (basically):
>scrap the cd-rom and get a dvd-rom instead. newegg has a liteon for 42 shipped.
My mistake again. I've got a 16X CD/DVD that I'm reusing. This was just to replace the 40X CD I've got now.
Liaon, you said:
>P4B533 SUCKS! P4S533 its so much better. Get Asus P4S533 please...
>and... Get an 2.26GHZ 533 Pentium IV ...
OK, this I need to understand. Why the 2.26 rather than a 2.4B? And what's better about the P4S than the P4B? Not arguing, just trying to learn here... Thanks again...
