I'd be interested in hearing your experience :) How do you like the Mushkin PC3200? Is it as good as the Corsair?
In the P4B533 it's better because it can go higher off less voltage. But the corsair will go higher given extreme voltages.Quote:

The Corsair is in mY 8K3A+ waiting for me to unlock the cpu ;)
couldnt the true samy pc2700 do like 2-2-2-5-1 at 209mhz or something crazy like that? why do people buy xms3200 when you can get samsung pc2700 that can run that?Quote:

I got a samsung PC2700 stick that is "crazy" like that....but the "crazy" sticks that do that are all sold, it was just a good batch of chips i guess. If you can find some of that go for it, but i've yet to hear of a place that ACTUALY sells those amazing sticks in the past..i'd say 3 months or so. they were called TRUE PC2700...now everyone markets thiers as being true...for it really is true samsung 6ns memory...just not the good batch :(
i've seen samsung's pc3200 listed as both cas 2.5 and cas 3, depending on where you look. especially on pricewatch, they're samsung pc3200 cas 2.5 scattered all over.
Because XMS3200 rev 1 used the same chips. And you cant get the good samsung anymore.Quote:

Does it do 400 @ CL 2 with no voltage increase ?Quote:

And finally what brand is it :D
I might get the 256MB stick. The one review (tweaktown) reported DDR450 without noting any voltage increases (which leads me to assume that it was with no voltage increase). So, if it does/did DDR450 with no voltage increase, I wonder what I could do with 2.9vmem?
I have goals of DDR480 with any timings possible. I figure if this won't get me there, I can return it and get some corsair. :)
it does do 2.5 with stock voltage i had to increase it to 2.6 so i can get it to run at 425. i havent tried it @cas2 yet i will when i do some more testing it is pretty good memory also my stick is from samsung it is the kind that they are selling at newegg .
What motherboards are ya'll using to get 200+MHz out of the FSB?
Geeze mein that's fast yo.
<edit> Why did I ask that? Must have coffee...
Either unlocked AXP's or SiS p4 chipsets (645 and 645DX). :)Quote:

By the way, what's the max bandwidth you can get, ColdFusion1?
I'm looking for some extreme bandwidth, along with going to be using extreme (air) cooling (80CFM) on it.
