I frequently come across posts that don't actually have any content, often just a quote from another poster. A perfect example can be found here, where CadetLee quotes mpitts, but writes nothing further, and then THESANTINI compounds the issue by quoting CadetLee (which results in a post containing precisely nothing).
I'm not trying to single these two people out, since they're certainly not the only ones who do this. I'm just wondering if this is an acceptible practice. It seems to me that if someone feels strongly enough about the content of a thread to contribute to it, they should at the very least have something to say, rather than simply quoting what someone else has already written.
