SiS648 not quite there
I understand that this chipset is new off the fab lines and has just gotten out to western markets, but doesn't it seem to have a below-average overclock? The highest I've seen is 147MHz on an ASUS P4S8X. Do you think this is true for all 648's? Or will perhaps a new chipset revision be made that will 'scale' higher? I really like the AGP 8x (whether or not it might make any difference right now), I plan to buy a "Ti4200" nV30 around my birthday (late jan), but what concerns me most is the overclocking I will get out of this board. 166MHz is my obvious goal, but I would be most satisfied with even 150MHz FSB. What do you all know that I don't?

if it is THAT bad, then sh1t, I'll forget everything about that board :(

I read a review of the Abit SR78X maxing out at around 160fsb a while back, I'm sure few bios updates will improve the oc potencial of the Asus P4S8X later on.
