PSU died, that sucks
Well, I usually leave my comp on 24/7, but I turned it off over hte night. I woke up turned on my comp checked a few things, then went to lay down on bed (hung over). As im laying there I hear my computer turn off, im like Damn *** happend? So I get up walk over to comp hit the power button no go, I think damn check PSU. I put my hand on it and it was so hot that it was like wow thats not good.
So, Im guessing that its my PSU that died, I dont have any over 300 watts that I could use to test the highest PSU i have in the house is 230 that wouldn't work.
So im going to order a new one prolly an antec 350 seeing as I dont have any money, im calling the grandmother today and "begging" her to buy me one.
Just plain sucks if you ask me, could the PSU dying cause anything else to short out?

would this be a good replacement for my current system? 48$ at newegg, my last Power Supply was a 300 watt Antec.

that's not a bad choice, antec's are definately quality psu's (surprised your 300w died). you might also want to look at the antec true power series though, they are really top notch...i've been loving mine since i got it months ago.

Well, My parents decided to give me the money so I ended up getting an Antec 300 SL300S, It was cheap and effective at Best Buy, a little more than there site claimed, site claimed 40$, got there 52$ :(. Im grateful that my parents got it because my grandma said I would have to wait a week or so :(.
Anywho back online, (was about to start withdrawls) :p
