Ok a friend of mine who lives with me, has a voodoo 4 4500, he wants to play Max Payne and No One Lives Forever 2, However we can't seem to find a way to play it tried the Armiglaion(sp) drivers and the Dozer drivers Can't seem to get anything to let us Play either of these games someone please help us out here im getting extremly pissed off.

You can also try the drivers from www.omegacorner.com.
What operating system is he using? On my old system, I used to have a Voodoo4 4500 PCI on Windows 98 and Max Payne worked for me (despite having piss-poor framerates) I was using the reference drivers that came with the video card, too. Maybe try installing those...ya never know.
I know for a fact that the Omega 1.03b drivers work for Max Payne. It even improves performance significantly for Max Payne to make it playable. Omegadrivers can be found at www.omegacorner.com
Why doesn't he just buy a new VGA? You can get one for $50 that will stomp a V4 and play those games?

I'm not anti-3dfx or something like that. In fact, I'm a loyal 3dfx user. Obviously, you can tell that I'm still using Voodoo5 5500 and it's my primary rig. So don't get me wrong.
Honestly, if you're intended to use Voodoo for games. I think either you should change your mind or not have a high expectation. The driver is a really big issue here.

Well, that's for GAMERS. As a university student who only uses it for school research and assignment like me, I feel there is no need for any upgrade.

Whoops, I did forget to say what os. Sleep deprivation gets to you after a while.
Its on XP when he wakes up today Ill have him try, the omega drivers. Ill go have a look at them now. Thanks for you're help I will let everyone know how it goes. As for him getting a new card, its underway he just has to get the cash for one.

People are still using 3DFX cards? I got a couple of those laying aroundlol, although I lovec them in the past isnt using one of those kinda like trying to Polish a Turd?
