game keeps on crashin, why?????

when i play RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP XTEREME, often when i select some functions such as "Practise" or "SINGLE RACE", the games quits. could there be any reasons as to why...it can crash any time but not while i m playing it, it only happens when browsing and making my choices. the game is called RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP Xterme. is there any pacth that i can download to correct the problem and if so where from. i tried the game's developer's site but they dont have any pacth. plz help... thanx.
