The power wont go?!?!
I bought a new comp, the cooling and case stunk so i switched it too a new case with better cooling (a better fan heatsink and extra sys fan) i have a 1.4 ghz athlon with an K7S5A motherboard GeForce 3 etc.
what are some of the things i could check or do too get it too work?
could it be a bad Power supply unit? how do I test my componenets?motherboard?Powersupply?

What exactly is happening? Do any of the LEDs light up? Do any of the fans or hard disks spin?
Check the obvious things first (outlet, cord, UPS or Surge Protector). If know how to use a multimeter then you can check out the power supply itself. But if you don't know what you are doing then don't open the power supply up. It could be dangerous. It would actually be easier to borrow a known, good power supply from somebody else and swap them. If that doesn't work then it may be your motherboard.

Is it just me or is Yurimaru from Ninja Scroll the gayest guy in animation history?

"I bought a new comp."
So did it come assembled and running and then you swapped over the parts?
If so you may have shorted the mobo on transfer (check that all the spacers are in the right place) or you may have dislodged a component.
If you can get into the bios at startup check the settings are correct.
Does it post at all? Any beeps, do you get the startup screen?
