Its only good for TV and has a native resolution of 852x480! I've actually never seen a plasma with good resolution. Plus I hear they burn out quickly.Quote:

most plasma tvs are 1280x720, which is a decent resolution (much higher than DVD video but then again so is 852x480). they would give you enough desktop space, and they're huge!!! so therefore they kick. oh, and you can see them clearly from 3 feet in front of them, so they are much better quality overall than a Hi def projection TV.
1280x720 is decent for a 17" monitor. If I had something that was 42" I would want it to at least do 1080 progressive.Quote:
