Mysty's CS Server

I just so happen to have a new motherboard and chip come into my possession a day or two ago (P3 800EB and Asus CUSL2-C)...

For those interested my CS Server (Mysty's CS Server) is back online. I know I have taken a great length of time to do so, but better late than never. I know I had a few bugs with the server last time, but I am confident those will be gone when I get everything completed.

Specs of Server:

Intel P3 800EB
Asus CUSL2-C
768Mb PC133
Matrox G200 8Mb AGP
Maxtor 20GB, 7200rpm, ATA100
Western Digital Caviar 13Gb 5400rpm ATA66
Fujitsu 6Gb 5400rpm ATA66
NetGear FA311 NIC
Road Runner @ 2.5Mbps Down, 523Kbps Up


It will be the same server you remember (Adminmod, HLGuard, and Stats) with maybe a few new additions. 12 player max IIRC, and I need to assign a few admins again. I may also run another game or two off it, just to see what I can do.

This is the first day it's been online in about six months, so please let me know of any issues or bugs you have with the server. :)

At the moment I have all the admins I need, but if I need anymore help you will be considered. Hope to see you on the server :)

I'll be on as much a I can but the ping isnt what I mused to now :( I like under 50 , there its 100+ but I'll go to play with some members.

I am picking up a new network cable this week; I think perhaps the one I have isn't the best... since my ping gets up to 15 at times (it's always been at or under 5).

Hey Cola welcome to my world, my ping is better now than last time.

on the old server I had 300+ on the new server 200+ Its fun knowing you were lined up for a headshot and still get killed, because your target has a <100 ping :p

sweet, i'll be there in a week or two :D i have so much crap to do before i can get around to installing cs back on my computer :(

lol i wish i had that kind of self-discipline: i'm too addicted and it's gettin in the way of my schoolwork :( ...although i'm still maintaining a 3.8 GPA weighted :D

when does everyone usually play? I mean everytime I Ping it there's no one playing :(

whenever i get around to playing, it will be between 7 and 11 pm est.

something is weird...everyone shows up around a corner like a spilt second later than usual...it kinda sucks because I look around the corner and start walking and then the enemy shows up right in front of me before I can do anything...ping is fine (around 250) and I got no packet loss or choke...
