My H20 Experience!

A while back I was telling you all about my h20 cooling that I had, but never set it up. Well I finally did, and I even wrote up a nifty review on it :)

Ya, at first I was real scared of leaking and didnt know if I had the balls for it. But now, h20 seems boring already :) However, I need to get a better rad/pump/tubing lol. Mainly tubing, the crap this kit comes with is not real good. :mad: Oh well, I had fun setting it up! oh, and I'll post my OCing success when I fully get my best 3dmark :cool:

I just noticed kenrippy has the same setup.... do you hate the tubing? Also, looks like you just squeeked by my ti200 score... I havent gotten all of what its capable of yet... :D Compare

Thanks, and just a tip for all you water coolers. DEIONIZED WATER!!! I got some, and I'm not worried about leaks anymore, I couldnt light up led's with it or anything! Pretty sweet!

Did you test it with a multimeter? I think you'll find out that it is very very slightly conductive, but probably not enough to do any damage to pc components if you happen to spill it. Only one way to find out, but I doubt you'd want to risk it ;):p

obviously, I'm not gonna throw a bunch of deionized water on my computer. :confused:

but how do you know without testing? It's the scientific method! ;)

The problem is, once the water is out of the sealed cooling unit, impurities such as dust will be added to it which will make the water conductive once again.

Please ;) You need some ions... Dust wouldnt do this. If I threw a bunch of salt in the mix, that might change things a bit ;)

I never had the stock tubing, I bought my parts seperate (no kit) so I'm using Tygon tubing.

nice score for a ti200, but you're at almost 3ghz too :D . wonder what I could get outta my ti500 with 3ghz lol.

ya, the ti200 does like 245/545 but imagine if I could get some faster ram! I would enable the 4:5 Divi...Thatd be like 438 DDR :-o
