how do I see what plugin is installed /unisntall plugin in my IE6?

I download and tried several DVD related programs nothing related to Internet Explorer 6

I got WinXP (didn't update to service pack1)

I got an annoying problem in IE6 now when I can open up another window but when I try to do anything that requires opening up another IE window the new window would freeze.

like if I click on something and a new window pop up it would freeze.
or choose "open in new wnidow" the new window would freeze.

how would I go about seeing what kinda plugin has been installed and how do I remove plugins for IE6?
