Screwy windows speaker configuration
Ok, what would make my windows keep defaulting back to 2.1 channel setup? I know its not the speakers because i've connected all the leads from the sub to the line out from the soundcard for the main signal and they all work. I just don't get 5.1 now. I even removed the audigy and enabled the onboard sound on the motherboard and still the same problem. All I can think of is there is a conflict in windows somewhere but can't seem to figure out from what. Any suggestions?
