i have a sorta old kt7a-raid which uses the kt-133 chipset. i kinda wanna upgrade my processor now and maybe m-board later. so i was wondering if i could get a AXP with tbred. or would have to upgrade my m-board first. thanks

T-Bred is out of the question. If fact, to run a standard Pali core XP you are supposed to have board Rev. 1.3 and the latest BIOS.
yeah i think im just going to save enough money to buy a nforce2 and a 2100+ tbred and maybe 256mb of corsair xms 2700 or whatever i can afford.
Would definitely be better than the headaches you would go through trying to get an XP to run in that board.Quote:

I ever had ABIT KT7A ver 1.3 , latest BIOS and doesn't work normal with Pallomino 1900+ standard setting BIOS .
Using Win 98SE worked normal , but not in 3D gaming .
random crashed in Quake 3 arena ,
Car chase high detail crashed in 3D mark 2001 SE.
But ABIT KT7A works great with T-bird 1 GHz .
The Pallomino 1900+ was not damaged or bad .
I tried in ABIT KX7-333 , worked well
