i am considering an upgrade,
i would like to get maybe Xp2400+ Tbred or a P4 2,4Ghz. their prices are pretty much the same here. I checked the performance on sisoft 2003 , it may not be very accurate but it seemd the xp was better on most things and it was only 2ghz. whichi should be the best option, then i wll discuss the MObo thansk
I say go with the AMD.
Thing with most 2400+'s now is that the minimum OC for them is easily 2.3 Ghz. A good number make it up to 2.5, some to 2.6. Get the athlon, its a really good buy right now, along with the 2100+.
i was thinking it would be better. how will i know whter it will be the Tbred A core or B ? and which is better? Will it work on a 333MHz bus? which mobo would you recommend? Also do i need to do any special mod to beable to O/c it?
