Worth buying?
Some of my recent favorites:
Iwar2
Mafia
AoM
AoE2
Currently running XP1600+,256 PC2700 or 512+ PC133(whichever works best).
If not the game i'll just get another stick of PC2700.
But then id have nothing to play :(

The game is DAMN good :D
I love it man, and the single player IMO rocks too....
I enjoy the game, excellent graphics, good controlls, good gameplay.
My only complaint comes in that the combat is a little repetitive as are the missions if you dont feel like traiding. The main story line missions are Out of this world but the in between missons consit of 1) fly to point 2) kill bad guys 3) fly to next point 4) kill bad guys 5)sometimes tractor in an item or person most times not.
IMO it would have been much better if they had kept the freelancing part inbetween missions out al together.
Awesome game. I like the gameplay a lot. The story is nice as well, plus the game has excellent graphics and sound. However, I found the storyline a bit too short.. a shame that it wasn´t a bit longer. After you complete the missions with Jane, you´re on your own I think. But still, it was well worth the money.
It's a fun game, a fitting follow on to the WC Privateer games. My only complaint was that replay was a bit limited - After you have tried the very heavy fighters, gotten the good guns, etc... What's there to do?
If you liked IWar2, you should like Freelancer.
Great game! Just bought it the other day and I am now on the third part of Mission 3. I keep getting my butt handed to me though. Either I would get blown up or Walker get's his punk *** blown up.
Maybe I should buy a new ship. I'm still flying that Civilian StarFlier. :)
I actually havent even tried single player yet, I should check that out.
OK. I guess its the game now, ram latter.
Thanks.
I like PRIVATEER 2 better. Any 1 has a chance to play it?
actually from what I've read the game plays pretty well even on the minimum specs so I would imagine it'd play pretty good on yours...and did you try the demo?
W3rd, the game runs great even on older computersQuote:

Man, i bought a freighter real early and now im getting my *** kicked.
These guys dont let up do they?
OMW to london now with 30k to pick up my new ship.
I miss the feeling of flying you get with a joystick like in EOC2 and im just terrible with the keyboard.
Got all 5 bottons on my mouse programed. Are there mice with more than 5 buttons? :)
Freelancer was fun, but incredibly short. I won it in a week or so of part-time play, and I'm not particularly good at action games. Combat was really easy. Once the game is over, you actually can do some freelancing... but there's no further story to develop. You just bust people up and get bigger guns.
So it was cool, but I was disappointed that it was over in 15 hours.
