What is the difference between OEM and Retail ?
OEM is just the product shipped in bulk packaging. It doesnt include any fancy schmancy extra games and crap, just the product and any included drivers:) OEM is always cheaper too...
OEM products are sold in bulk and may not contain any of the extras - nice packages, long warranties, etc.
Retail products are packaged to be sold indvidually to the end user.
Processors are one example. An Intel OEM proc is sold alone whereas the retail version (boxed) is sold with a 3 year warranty and an HSF w/all necessary hardware.
