Seriously, speedstream, thunderbird (simply following the lead), not so much colossus b/c he owns all those rigs but he really doesn't need to include all of them. It is just terribly annoying to have to scroll past all these gigantic sigs! Most of the time they just include insulting posts about thunderbird which isn't cool. Could you guys limit it to like 5 - 10 lines or something? That would be great :).

There is a checkbox setting in the user control panel to view posts without signatures.
we do try to talk to users with massive sigs, because it also bothers me, too.
Yes but the problem with that is a lot of people (like me) have that info down there so you don't have to repeat it when you have a problem, or to show you are familiar with that motherboard or video card or something. It DOES serve a purpose when used correctly.Quote:

A lot of people could reduce their sig links by posting the specs on their systems on the same line, instead of having a different piece of hardware on the same...
And also people don't need to put Motherboard: then list it, Processor: then list it, and so on, because most everyone here can figure it out without the lable.

Geez, I disappear for a month or so and come back to find everyone has copied my idea for a short sig that shows everything. Well, at least I still have my fluffy dice.... :D

Its not really a big deal but when someone posts "yeah dude, I agree" and you have to scroll down half a page to get to the next post, its a lot of clutter and kinda annoying. Especially when the thread is three pages long and you have a slow dial up.
