Where do you keep your software??

Hey sharky pals,
As i was cleaning up my stack of CDs and games today, I began thinking of better ways to organize them. I only keep games and software in their original cases, and I have a good 40+ games/software out that I use "regularly".
I always keep all driver discs, manuals and other "non-game related" software in my Motherboard box for safe keeping, yet my games just seem to float around my desk.
So where do you guys keep your discs?? Do you have a rack, a drawer, or are you just a slob like me?? ;)

I keep my software either in the jewel case on a bookshelf (very big bookshelf!!!) or in a small 20 disc holder (the most used software, utilities) or in a large 250 disc holder case.. It holds the CD's and any books that I might need to hold.. It can get very heavy!

pile them on the floor, not a very good solution but it works as my bookshelf is full.

Most of my software comes on DVDs in a nice zippered canvas case with a Microsoft logo. When not in use I keep it and my other media in a fireproof file cabinet located in the comm room.

I have several large cd wallets. Works well and it is easy to store away.

I keep most of the CD's I use for work in a CD binder. I've got a small CD rack for commonly used CD's at home. CD's at home & work that are hardly ever used get put on a spindle to save space.

I stack my game CD's in one shelf, and my other stuff in the other.

i have a 4-shelf black metal rack with ash colored wood shelves that holds like 200-300 CDs that i keep everything on. it is sturdy as a tank and holds CD spindles, floppies -- everything. :cool: i got it a couple weeks ago at staples for $5, apparently they are being discontinued. it was a great deal (always looking for those :D ), now that you've reminded me i may go back and see if they have anymore left and grab another one. :)

A big CD wallet that holds like 50 cd's. I'm quite anti-mess around my workstation (my wife may argue that though ;)).

I have one of those large turning cd holders that you slide the case into.. thats for bulk storage and holds like 120. Then I have a desk top one for games/other things that I use all the time and must have the cd for. And along with that theres 3boxes of cd's in the closet. All my backups on are spindels on the shelf done by year of backup done. As they get toooooo old the cd gets distroyed or used as targets.

I have a 200 disc cd binder, where I keep all my games/apps.

I have a 250-cd revolver holder thing. It's great for putting the case in and everything. :)

I use a few large binder style cases for drivers, old games, and apps. Most of the current software I use gets thrown on an old CD-R spindle. It works well, the disks stay in good shape and the most commonly used ones stay on top.

I keep the original CDs in the original package, on my bookshelves.

I make a copy of the originals, and try to put things like patches, cracks, text file w/ CD key, bonus maps, etc on there, too. I put these in a CD wallet.

i toss them in one of my 7 drawers.
