What is your favoriate video card?

It doesnt have to be the fastest or the most expensive, but something you find special.


I find the ti200 special because that video card has it all. Direct X8, overclocks great, some even do ti500 speeds and its very, very fast too. I broke 10k marks on that and 101fps in quake3 at 1600x1200 everything maxed. That thing is very close to a stock ti4200 in performance. also she runs every game out just great as long as you have a fast cpu and dont use fsaa or 2048x1536 resolutions :) and best of all, she costs around half a C note or $50. The mx440 is also nice, alot like a ti200 but no directX 8 is a liability :(

9800 Pro, because I can play any game out with full details without even having to think about the framerate, and this is like 4 steps up from my Ti4400.

I'm gonna have to say my Geforce3. Considering it's the first card I bought, she's stuck with me for over a year (I'll be sad when I replace her:( ). Not once have I had a hiccup from this card, so I know my bro will be in good hands:D

My favoriate video card is the best one I have in my main machine right now, which is my 4200 and when it is replaced with another video card then the new one will be my favoriate.

My favorite card is the Hercules Thriller 3D PCI which debuted 5 years ago and was featured in the Alienware Area 51 Rig. It uses the famous Rendition Verite 2200 chip :D

Umm, I like my Ti4600 Medusa because it is the only card I have ever owned. Yes, up until now, I had only had integrated video.

For me, it was my C3D 9700Pro, my very 1st hi-end vid card!:) (you can say I broke hi-end cherry with it!:D :p :D ). Upgraded from an Abit Siluro Ti4200, also one heck of card:) , one of a few, regretably FEW, good choices I've made putting my rigs together. :)

I do love my old trusty Voodoo 3 3000pci card, which will always be my favorite card of all time,next to my trusty voodoo 5 5500

I'll second that. It's the Voodoo3 3000 PCI for me. First true 3D accelerator I ever bought. I even fitted it with a big Zalman heatsink and overclocked it a little past V3 3500 specs. It was quite a difference over running Half-Life in 640x480 software mode. :)

Well, I started out with a Voodoo 2 card. Great at it's time. Then switched to Geforce 2MX and now will be getting a Radeon 9800 Pro.

So I guess my favourite GC will be the Radeon (if it arrives). Reasons:
1)It will run like hell
2)Look awesome
3)For that kind of money it BETTER be good ;)

Matrox G450 - I don't really care about games and dual monitors is a must for me

My Ti4200. First time overclocker and managed to have it exceed 4400 speeds. And it's the first card purchase where I performed what seemed like a month-long research to ensure I got the best card for the buck.

my add-on monster 3d (still up and running :D ) back in the old days. Damn games were a lot faster with that thing

I have to say my ATI 9700pro, the games run and look great. So far no compatibility problems with any of the games I own.

Ive had many card "loves" but Id say the best were my old 12MB Voodoo 2's in SLI running ontop of a STB Nitro 3D (4MB, 64Bits) that combo gave me no end of gameplay joy while on what was possibly the best/most fun games I ever played "Interstate 76" and "Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries" both DX3 games if I remember correctly.
