Are you sure its lexan and not plexi? Lexan is what they use to make radio control car bodies and should be able to be cut through with a pair of scissors ans is rather flexable, and i dont tihnk I have ever seen anyone use it for a window.
Lexan comes verious thicknesses, I believe an inch is the thickest
NASCAR uses Lexan for the windshields
Thick Lexan is also $$$$. Im sure a computer window is plexi-glas.
Yes it is Lexan, Bought it at home depot. 0.093" i think it is, not very thick but supposedly 250 times stronger than normal plexi. It also comes with a 10 year guarentee against yellowing...... not that I will have this window in 10 years lol.Quote:

thanks for the notice, I have been trying to find a place that sells lexan (and thats not too bad of a price, hobby shops are outrageous in prices for half that sizze)
yep, home depot will even cut it for you. Just pick out a sheet big enough and give them the sizes you need (Beware, The glass cutters arent all geniuses (neither am I if i misspelled this lol), I had to explain to the poor guy 3 times how my piece I picked WAS big enough for the dimensions I asked for and even came home with an extra piece that I use to test my spraypaints/lighting effects on :)Quote:

actually I got the strong stuff cuz my wife is pregnant and im hoping when my munchkin starts crawling around it'll be more scratch resistant (you know they love bangin on stuff, I'm hoping he isnt attracted to all the purty lights inside my computer.......)
